What should we bring with us when filing for simplified divorce?
You and your spouse may come to the Clerk's Office to file the paperwork jointly or one party may file the paperwork. However, you will need to bring a self addressed stamped envelope for the party not appearing. You must each bring photo identification, such as a driver's license. In addition the Certificate of Corroborating Witness form is included in the simplified dissolution packet, and should be signed in the presence of a notary. Forms for filing a simplified divorce are available in the Clerk of Courts Office in the Courthouse.
