The Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller supports Citrus County's criminal, civil and juvenile courts. We process, record and file court documents; act as custodian of the court's records and evidence; and perform such duties as are enjoined by statute or imposed by lawful authority of the court.

It is the duty of the Clerk and Comptroller to make and keep an accurate record of the proceedings in court and of the courts' orders and adjudications.

If filing documents for a case scheduled for hearing within the next 3 days please notify the Clerk when filing.

The Courts department consists of several divisions: Circuit Civil, County Civil, Small Claims, Probate, Guardianship, Felony, Misdemeanor, Juvenile, Domestic Relations/Family Court, Jury, Customer Service, Injunctions and Traffic.
